Sun of a Beech family cottage

Welcome to the 2008 Cottage Season!

Robin and Laurie Carmount purchased the cottage in April 2003 with the intentions of renting it to families and couples who want to enjoy what Haliburton County has to offer.

The cottage is located on Beech Lake which is located in Algonquin Highlands Township formerly Stanhope Township.

Beech Lake is at the centre of a seven lakes. These lakes can be accessed by smaller boats, canoes and kayakers. Beech Lake is an excellent Muskie and Bass fishing lake.

Cottage Specifications & Rules

The cottage is 900 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, living room, fully furnished. It included a 4 piece bathroom, excellent drinking water, well is tested regularly and the results are posted in the kitchen. The cottage can accommodate 6 people comfortably.

• Pets are allowed but must be cleaned up afterward and leashed.
• Bedding is NOT supplied, nor are towels and pillows.
• No smoking is allowed in the cottage

Property

The cottage is located on North Shore road, which is approximately 4 km North of Carnarvon on highway 35. The lot is 100 ft wide on North Shore road by 459' deep. The beach is 25 ft on the lake with beautiful sand and is safe for kids. A swim raft is available for swimming and there is room to moor a boat.

Kitchen

Fully stocked, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, all necessary utensils are provided.

Sleeping Arrangements

One room has 2 bunk beds. one with a double bed in the bottom, the other 2 bedrooms have Queen sized beds.
